About

Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine is an organization that acts as a driving force for people

who choose to challenge themselves—

a place where they come together, learn, and accelerate their actions.

We work to build an ecosystem where new challenges continuously inspire the next.

【Our Role】

Our strength lies in the fact that all our board members and partners are practitioners.

We support real challenges, not in theory, but through experience.

We continually ask “Why do this?

and walk alongside people as they turn intention into action.

By bringing diverse challenges together,

we create a platform where new value emerges through action.

Board Members

Meet the board members whose perspectives and experiences power the engine behind our work.

Tatsuaki Toda

CEO, Synaptech Inc.
CEO, Visionary Power Inc.

Entrepreneurs create the services that shape our world, and when more people take on challenges, society becomes more dynamic and engaging.

With this belief, I helped create this platform to support those who are willing to step forward and try something new.

We value open and respectful relationships where people can learn from one another and grow together, regardless of age or background.

Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine is designed as an open entry point—a place where anyone can connect and begin their journey of challenge.

Hiromasa Ishihara

CEO, Move Innovation Inc.

I see Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine as a place where people can return to the starting point of their challenges. When a business does not go as planned or decisions become difficult, it is a place to pause, reflect, and move forward again.

All board members are practitioners, which allows us to engage with challenges from a firsthand perspective rather than through theory alone. I hope the Engine becomes a place people can rely on—one they turn to when things are not going well. Above all,

we value creating an environment where challenges are not only difficult, but also something people can sustain with a sense of enjoyment.

Kiyotaka Kato

CEO, Creative Lab Inc.

We aim to remain open to both domestic and international perspectives, fostering relationships where people can exchange opinions freely and honestly.

On a personal level, I place great importance on paying forward the connections, opportunities, and insights I have received over the years.

By sharing these experiences with the next generation, I hope to help create a community where relationships continue to grow and give rise to new value.

Ryosuke Shiojima

CEO, SchooMy Inc.

My own business began through my participation in the Innovation Camp.

When the right people and opportunities come together in one place, momentum emerges naturally, enabling individuals to move forward and engage seriously with their ventures.

Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine provides an environment where challenges are approached with intention rather than hesitation. As long as there are people willing to take on challenges, the Engine will continue to exist.

Ayumu Sugiyama

Professor, Yamanashi Prefectural University

I see Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine as a place where people from diverse backgrounds can connect on equal footing, without being constrained by hierarchy or position.

By bringing education and entrepreneurship together, it creates an environment where new forms of learning and challenge can emerge within the community.

These intersections expand opportunities for individuals to grow, experiment, and engage with society in new ways.

Shun Nakada

President, Nakata Certified Public Accountant & Tax Accountant Office

Associate Professor, Yamanashi University

I believe entrepreneurs must face the fundamental question of why they choose to pursue their own challenges.

Through this process, values begin to shift, and the core direction of one’s challenge becomes clearer.

Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine aims to function as an accessible point of passage—a place people can step into naturally, regardless of their stage, as they continue moving forward in their journey.

Haruna Yamaguchi

CEO, ONTO Inc.

I see Mt.Fuji Innovation Engine as a place where entrepreneurs work together to overcome challenges that are difficult to face alone.

Because everyone involved is actively engaged in their own ventures, it fosters relationships that go beyond specific fields, roles, or positions.

I also hope it can serve as a kind of “support system” for entrepreneurs

—providing support that complements their growth.
